Under the hood is where most of the changes are, with the base 3.8L V6 getting a nice bump in power up to 333 horsepower and 291 lb-ft. of torque. Those numbers are up from 290-hp and 262 lb-ft. of torque. The more exciting news is the addition of the 5.0 R-Spec Genesis that gets a 5.0L V8 with 429 horsepower and 376 lb-ft. of torque. The 5.0L V8 is mated to an eight-speed automatic transmission.

In fact, the V12 engine of the Inden SL65 AMG is able to develop 1,200 Nm, but it’s electronically limited due to other technical reasons.
